A. Replacement of FEVO Prepaid MasterCard|
1. Why do I need to replace my FEVO Prepaid MasterCard?
As of 1st April 2011, MAS new guidelines state that all FEVO Prepaid MasterCard must be issued with an EMV Smart Chip to offer enhanced levels of security on card transactions. Hence, we will offer a free replacement to all non-EMV FEVO Prepaid MasterCard cardholders with the new FEVO Prepaid MasterCard.
This also means that the top-up function for all non-EMV FEVO Prepaid MasterCard currently will be disabled with effect from 31st March 2011. However, you can still continue to use the remaining balance monies on your FEVO card until 31st December 2011.
2. What additional features do the new EMV Smart Chip embedded FEVO Prepaid MasterCard have?
A One-Time Password (OTP) will be instituted and sent to the cardholder via SMS for secure e-commerce transactions.
The new EMV Smart Chip embedded FEVO Prepaid MasterCard will also be equipped with the MasterCard PayPass™ and the ez-link purse*, allowing one single FEVO Prepaid MasterCard to be used at all EZ-Link and MasterCard PayPass payment acceptance points.

3. Am I entitled to the free card replacement?
If you are holding a valid non-EMV FEVO Prepaid MasterCard at the point of replacement, you will be entitled. Please see below for illustrations for the non-EMV FEVO Prepaid MasterCard and EMV Smart Chip Embedded FEVO Prepaid MasterCard.
Cards expiring before 1st April 2011 will not be entitled to the free card replacement.
4. I am entitled, how do I replace my non-EMV FEVO Prepaid MasterCard?
You may replace your non-EMV FEVO Prepaid MasterCard by login in to www.fevocard.com to register for your free card replacement. However, kindly ensure that you have already activated your current non-EMV FEVO Prepaid MasterCard
5. I have gone through the card replacement process, when will I receive the new EMV Smart Chip embedded FEVO Prepaid MasterCard?
If you have not previously registered your non-EMV FEVO Prepaid MasterCard, please note that the replacement process will only be completed upon verification of a 6-digit registration code. The 6-digit registration code will be sent to the cardholder's mobile via SMS.
Upon completion of card replacement process, the new EMV Smart Chip embedded FEVO Prepaid MasterCard will be mailed to you within 21 days.
6. Do I have to pay for the new card? What is the new validity period?
No. All card replacements will be made free-of-charge. The replacement EMV Smart Chip embedded FEVO Prepaid MasterCard comes with additional three-month validity on top of the existing expiry date.
7. Do I need to surrender my existing FEVO Prepaid MasterCard upon replacing it with the new EMV Smart Chip embedded FEVO Prepaid MasterCard?
No, you can retain your non-EMV FEVO Prepaid MasterCard. Do note, however, that the top-up function will be disabled with effect from 1st April 2011, but you can continue using the card until the value in the prepaid MasterCard purse depletes or until 31st December 2011, whichever comes first.
Upon completion of card replacement process, all remaining value in the non-EMV FEVO Prepaid MasterCard purse will be transferred to the new EMV Smart Chip embedded FEVO Prepaid MasterCard purse.
The remaining value in the ez-link purse* of the non-EMV FEVO Prepaid MasterCard will not be transferred. The ez-link card purse has a lifespan of 5 years from the date of purchase.

8. I do not want a replacement card, how can I get a refund of the stored value in my non-EMV FEVO Prepaid MasterCard?
To forfeit the replacement card and obtain a refund of the stored value in your non-EMV FEVO Prepaid MasterCard, kindly ensure that the card is still valid and has been activated. After which please login to www.fevocard.com, click on REFUND PURSE BALANCE to print out the refund form.
Please mail / email / fax the completed form along with a photocopy of your ID to EZ-Link Pte Ltd. Details will be stated at the bottom of the form.
You will receive a cheque for the remaining value in the non-EMV FEVO Prepaid MasterCard purse within 21 working days.
Please note that the ez-link purse value will not be refunded but you may continue to utilize the ez-link purse for transit until it expires.
B. Thematic FEVO Prepaid MasterCard
9. I currently own a thematic FEVO Prepaid MasterCard, will I get a replacement card that bears the same design?
Yes, you will get to choose from the gallery of limited edition thematic card designs which include the Care Bears and Asiasoft designs. If you do not wish to have the thematic design, you may also upload your personal image for the replacement card and keep the old card as a memento
10. I currently own a personalized FEVO Prepaid MasterCard, will I get a replacement card that bears the same image?
No, you will not be receiving a replacement card that bears the same design. You will be required to upload a new image for the new card and keep the old card as a memento.
C. Using My EMV Smart Chip embedded FEVO Prepaid MasterCard
11. Do I need to activate my EMV Smart Chip embedded FEVO Prepaid MasterCard?
Yes, you will need to activate it here and keying in a unique password that will be emailed to your registered email address upon completion of the replacement process.
